Reviews
I've visited Chennai Palace quite a few times and I've to admit that they serve quality food. Options are too many in here like Buffet, Brunch and table booking too.
This time tried their Full Fish fry which was nicely decorated before bringing on the table. The service was good too and did not hold or had to wait too long.
Best option for me so far for food, pricing, ambience and off course lot of free parking.
Good place to treat yourself with Indian food. We ordered masala dosa, chilly gobi, methu vada, Kari dosa, masala tea and a magi lassy. My favourite is methu vada and masala dosa. They tasted great. Their masala tea was top notch, just reminded me of having tea in India. Best place for families and kids as well. If you wanna go with your friends, it will be a good choice.
Sophisticated restaurant and some amazing varieties of Indian food in their chart. Really loved the way the dishes were presented on table and the smell out of those dishes were just yummy.
First visit in Chennai Palace and we're glad we made the choice. All the food we tasted were the best and very fresh. This restaurant worth the money we spent. Happy to recommend. πππ
Chennai Palace's Sunday Buffet services is just wonderful and a proper weekend treat to any food lovers. Some wide range of food cooked with damn perfection at a fair price of $21 AU per adult.
Their buffet experience is fooding journey through a wide selection of veg & non-veg items, reflecting the richness of Indian cuisine. The well-balanced pricing adds complete satisfaction, making them an excellent choice for those seeking a memorable Sunday feast.
Chennai Palace's quality and varieties in its buffet services sets a commendable standard and much more then many other restaurants around.
Great food quality and friendly staffs !
First visit in Chennai Palace with my better-half and I'm glad I made this choice. The moment we entered we were greeted with a broad smile, a quick table was arranged for two of us.
Location of the restaurant is really good and so is the food menu. Lots of varieties which includes almost all types of Indian dishes. Out of the few we ordered, the Mysoor Masala Dosa was the best. The Chutney and Sambar was fresh and it was thick unlike other places or restaurant. In short it was beautiful dining experience with this restaurant. Surely worth spending money and coming back soon.
Food here at Chennai Palace was below average. Most of the dishes we ordered had absolutely no flavour. Extremely bland and not authentic. Keep in mind the lady who served us was not having a good day, her attitude was atrocious. I donβt have much else to say about this place except maybe, give it a miss.
Chicken lollipop in 2022 and same chicken lollipop in 2023, this was ordered well in advance, very disappointed, poor presentation, not sure why when we are paying more for same food and service. Unbelievable.
did not like the food at all! the taste was very bland, the dosas were too oily, cold and we're also burnt from the sides.
couldn't believe that they added curry leaves to paneer 65 which was absolutely tasteless and just marinated in turmeric and deep fried. nothing else.
the mysore dosa had its edges burnt and a little too much podi sprinkled inside.
the rawa onion dosa was cold, uncooked from the centre and extremely oily.
paid $50 for a starter and 2 dosas.
would never recommend.
